Security Engineering Intern (Summer 2025 - Graduate Student - Remote or Hybrid)

Pluto TV Product Security Team helps develop, build, and maintain the security of our product infrastructure. We work closely with the product teams across Pluto TV to find creative solutions to improve our security posture.

 

- Assist in developing tools and processes to enhance the security of our cloud infrastructure (Improving and fixing issues of our Access management solution)

- Contribute to improving network and platform security capabilities in a cloud environment (Identify security misconfigurations and remediate them)

- Participate in vulnerability assessments and help implement recommendations (Utilize our Security Posture solutions to fix critical vulnerabilities)

- Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve code security issues, ensuring adherence to security best practices.

 

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.

- Basic understanding of AWS services and cloud computing principles.

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Strong interest in learning and pursuing a career in Information Security.

 

Eligibility:   

This internship is open to Master's students who are returning to school in the fall of 2025. Undergraduate internships have closed. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities closer to your graduation date.  

You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.  

Interns will be required to work hybrid or fully on-site for the duration of the program. 

Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional). 

Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

The hourly rate for this position is $38.0-43.0. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
