Join our team and be a part of the exceptional hospitality we provide at the La Vista Embassy Suites & Conference Center. **Come Grow With Us:** At La Vista Embassy Suites, we offer not just a job, but a path to personal and professional growth. **Salary Range:** $16.00-16.80 /hr. **Primary Purpose:** The primary purpose of the Security Guard is to ensure the safety of the guests, associates and property. **Work Performed:** The Security Guard will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: + Ensure the safety of guests, associates, and hotel propertyalways; + Perform security patrols throughout all areas of the hotel andgrounds; + Enforce hotel policies and procedures while maintaining acourteous, tactful and helpfuldemeanor; + Respond immediately to emergency incidents and security requests(and escalates per protocol as appropriate); + Create reports on all activities during eachshift; + Draft incidentreports; + Monitor associates entering and leaving thehotel; + Collect packagesreceived by propertyand inspects parcels taken from theproperty; + Monitor the back entrance and receivingdock; + Checks all personnel entering and provides information and direction upon proper identification of all job applicants, salesmen,etc.; + De-escalate situations between associates and/orguests; + Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, includingreportingaccidents,injuriesand unsafe work conditions to managementand + Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. **Qualifications:** **Preferred** **Prior Experience:** 2 Years Loss Prevention experience **Preferred Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent **Required Licenses/ Certification:** Certified in CPR and First Aid or obtain certification within 30 days of hire. **Physical:** Complete mobility; it may be necessary to carry people or emergency equipment Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds on occasion Ability to bend and squat repeatedly Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift **Other:** Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. __________________________________________________ When you’re an Atrium Associate, you’re a part of a crucial workforce providing the ultimate ‘Home Away From Home’ for our guests.
