Property and Facilities against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry by performing the following duties. **Main Responsibilities:** + Patrols property and facilities of A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. + Lock doors, unlock doors, turn lights on and turn lights off. + Examines doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure. + Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked. + Observes departing personnel to guard against theft of company property. + Sounds alarm or notifies the police or fire department by telephone in case of fire, presence of unauthorized persons, or emergency situations. + Permits authorized persons to enter facility. + Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning of machinery or equipment, for use of supervisory and maintenance staff. + Properly inform guard or HR personnel on following shift of all notable issues encountered during security watch, in order to allow for a smooth transition between security shifts. + Foundry readings /logs - Fire extinguishers, loop reading, Ajax reading, etc. + Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Maintenance Supervisor. **Qualifications:** High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **Work Schedule:** + 10-20 hours per week + Sundays 8am-8pm + Holidays **A pre-employment Background Check and 6 panel (no THC) Drug screen required.** **A.Y.
