JBS is seeking a salary non-exempt Security Guard! Position starts at $17.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor plant activity.Hourly rounds (checking trailer temperatures, room temperatures, and gates).Monitor all associates entering and exiting the building including vehicle trafficWeight master scales, weighing trailers in and outAnswering switchboard after hoursBilling loadsFollow and implement company policiesOperate company owned vehiclesInspect trailers for cleanliness and operabilityReceive shipments of supplies and raw materialUnderstand and promote safety standards Perform assigned duties without direct supervisionOther duties assignedQualifications:
Authorized to work in the US18 years of age or moreAbility to work fulltime M-S; Weekends and overtime as needed as well as flexibility to rotate shifts as neededAbility to read, write and speak English, bilingual is preferredComputer skills preferred; Experience with SAP systems, Outlook, Teams, etc. Requires ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWell organized with high attention to detail and accuracyProfessional attitude with all personnel Ability to thrive in a fast paced settingAbility to work with all levels of the organizationRequires ability to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying terrain, in all weather conditions as well as up and down stairsSecurity experience is preferredAbility to conduct repetitive motionHigh School Diploma or GED is preferred
Work Environment:
The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures, fast-paced setting, and exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives. Can further include slippery floors and loud noises.
