Security Investigator, Uber Taiwan
**About the Role** Global Investigations is dedicated to keeping the platform safe both physically and financially for all our users and commercial partners. We do this by investigating internal and external matters, identifying vulnerabilities, and working cross-functionally to remove or mitigate risk. As an Investigator in Asia Pacific, you’ll be responsible for managing and conducting all facets of the investigations allocated to you with guidance and assistance from experienced team members. * * * **What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points** With guidance from an experience team member: 1. Prioritise and plan the cases assigned to them. 2. Undertake internal and external investigations using the skills listed in the basic qualifications section above. 3. Interrogate Uber's large data sources and other systems to obtain evidence. 4. Determine whether misconduct has occurred by applying Uber's policies to the users actions; and if so, prepare written reports outlining what has occurred for business leaders. 5. Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders. **Basic Qualifications** Experience in an investigation role with either a law enforcement / government agency, or with a tech or financial institution. Language competency in English and Mandarin. Must be capable of conducting investigations. Requires skills such as: 1. interviewing witnesses and subjects, 2. gathering evidence according to procedures, 3. maintaining a case management system, and, 4. producing accurate and concise investigation reports. Willingness to learn SQL and how to use other computer tools. **Preferred Qualifications** 1. Proficiency in SQL ( _this is not mandatory)_ 2. Open source intelligence skills (OSINT). 3. Experience with digital forensics. 4.
