Location: AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach – 401 Palmetto St. New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168

The role you’ll contribute:

Manages a group of security guards who ensure the protection of the organization's facilities, patients, visitors, and staff.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Manages the daily operations of the security department. Develops and enforces security procedures and regulations

· Acts as a liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures, and needs. Monitors and follows up on complaints and investigations

· Assigns responsibilities and tasks to support department function

· Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and policies/procedures

· May be required to oversight PBX/ communications

· May be required to have oversight of emergency management plans

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

· Associate's degree OR Technical degree in a related field OR Combination of High School diploma AND Two years of related experience

· 2 years Leadership Experience

· IAHSS - Certified Healthcare Security Supervisor (CHSS) must be acquired within one year of hire

· Basic Life Support (BLS) must be acquired within 90 days of hire
