SECURITY MANAGER
We are looking for a Security Manager to manage a key client account.

Role Purpose 
The Security Manager will oversee and manage all physical security operations for our client offices, ensuring alignment with corporate security strategies and objectives. This includes managing security systems ( access control and CCTV), vendor relationships, compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving a culture of safety and security. The role will also provide technical expertise, strategic guidance, and leadership across multiple sites and geographies, while promoting a proactive and risk-aware security culture. 
 
The Security Manager will play a critical role in implementing a robust global security program, leading regional operations, and ensuring personnel and asset protection through best practices in physical security and health & safety (H&S). 

  

Key Responsibilities: 
  

Security Operations 

- Oversee day-to-day security operations for SCB offices in New York, New Jersey, Houston, San Francisco, Somerset, Parsippany, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia. 

- Manage and maintain physical security systems including Lenel access control, CCTV systems, alarm monitoring, and equipment maintenance.

- Provide remote security management and conduct annual site visits to assess security gaps and review SOPs. Remote management oversight defines as providing Security Subject Matter Expertise advise and support to the business, assure security regulator compliance through an annual visit to conduct a Security Gap Analysis, and review and manage security SOPs.

- Conduct investigations into incidents and accidents, ensuring timely reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.

- Monitor local security threats, assessing, managing appropriate risk mitigation control measures- and escalating appropriately in accordance with SOP’s. Control measures include the implementation of bank emergency procedures when required. 

- The role will be the focal point physical operational risk, regulatory compliance, access control system design Security related project coordination, security vendor (VAR) management, personal access control data processing, creation of reports, ordering supplies assure Health and Safety compliance within the security operations, streamline processes, standardization, and quality control.

- The Security Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of security systems, overseeing access control reviews and auditing. Whilst ensuring all Group Security Processes are being followed and work directly with internal business partners on a daily basis will perform additional security duties as needed.

- Oversee incident investigations and ensure timely reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Manage security arrangements for corporate events, executive protection, and travel security.

- Assist the Global Security Lead manage and reduce operational risks across the account by providing guidance and advice on security, safety, and risk management at all levels.

- Ensure building-related risk assessments are in place in line with legal requirements and Client Global Risk Control Standards.

- Support Regional EHS and Security leads in developing relationships with key internal and external EHS and Security stakeholders.

- Proactively develop and manage client relationships ensuring expected service levels are achieved.


Compliance and Standards:
-Ensure compliance throughout the Americas region with Global Security Operating Standards (GSOS).
-Implement and manage security policies, standards, and processes in accordance with corporate protocols and local regulations.
-Ensure alignment with the requirements outlined in the Master Service Agreement (MSA) and other service-level agreements.
-Oversee the implementation of security-related processes, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, ensuring their functionality and effectiveness.
-Maintain dispensations and address gaps in security standards where necessary.

Technology and Vendor Management:
-Oversee the commissioning and maintenance of security systems, including access control (Lenel), CCTV, and alarm systems.
-Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and cost-effectiveness.
-Develop and maintain a lifecycle replacement schedule for all electronic security systems.
 

Leadership and Team Oversight:
-Lead and manage a multicultural, geographically dispersed security team, ensuring effective staffing levels and training.
-Conduct performance appraisals, mentor team members, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
-Ensure clear communication of key messages and updates to all security team members.
-Identify and implement training programs for security personnel to enhance operational effectiveness.
 

Relationship Management:
- Develop strong relationships with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other security agencies.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver consistent security solutions across the portfolio.
- Participate in event planning and manage security responses for corporate functions.
  

Experience: 

  -Minimum 5+ years leading or directing a security function in a corporate setting.
 -Membership in a recognized professional security organization (e.g., ASIS CPP).  
 -Demonstrated experience in a matrixed organization with regional or global responsibilities. 
 -Proven people management experience, with a focus on team development and performance. 
 -Hands-on experience in physical security system management and regulatory compliance. 
 -Health & Safety experience is preferred.
-Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.    -Expertise in implementing security technology platforms and managing vendor relationships.
 

Technical Skills: 

- Lenel certification or proven expertise in access control and CCTV systems is essential.   
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and incident reporting systems. 
- Knowledge of global and regional security regulations and best practices.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

110,000.00 – 121,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
