The Security Manager will play an important role ensuring the continuity of this work by being responsible for the security of all Nanotronics employees, facilities and equipment. As a front-line employee, it’s extremely important that the Security Manager maintains exceptional customer experience, while ensuring that Nanotronics’ intellectual property and staff are protected. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, who works well within a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities 

Facilitate and enforce all established security protocols for the safety of building 20Control the access to the building (visitor, vendors, customer, etc)Work closely with Executive Assistant and Human ResourcesBe available for Executive (C-Suite) team Liaise with local law enforcement, Navy Yard security/staff, neighboring businessesMaintain ITAR documentation and facilitate sensitive material securityRegister, greet and welcome guests, customers, investors and employment candidatesIssue visitor passes for access to Navy YardIssue Non-Disclosure Agreements to visitors (upon staff request) Assist with opening all workspaces at beginning of each day and securing at endDistribute safety updates and reminders, as neededPerform and prepare workplace incident investigationsImplement Emergency Action Plan, if necessaryPerform duties as Fire GuardAssist with facilities, ordering, deliveries, and general administration

Education and Experience 

20+ years’ experience in law enforcement and/or security (public and/or private)2 years’ supervisory experienceLicensed security professional
