Security Master

**The Opportunity:**
The Neuberger Berman Security Master Team is responsible for all aspects of asset master operational support across the firm, inclusive of all investment teams, vehicles, and regions. Our team works directly with portfolio managers, traders, IT, and other operations groups and is a primary point of escalation on security data matters. In this role, you will be responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and exception monitoring of the security master across all products and ensuring data quality in the trading and accounting platforms across the firm. The ideal candidate will have an advanced understanding of the necessary facilitation, analysis and design tasks related to the development of Master Reference Data solutions for equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Support all facets of security master support including the setup, maintenance, and review of securities in trading and accounting systems.
+ Work closely with front office and other internal teams to solve issues pertaining to security analytics
+ Analyze, define, and implement business practice and procedures to ensure data integrity.
+ Define and document policies. procedures and process flow across multiple functions within Operations.
+ Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues, recommending appropriate corrective action.
+ Assist in setting up Service Level Agreements with business partners, scheduling the work to meet expectations.
+ Responsible for producing quality and quantity metrics measuring performance.
+ Escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner, providing updates to Senior Management as required.
**Requirements:**
Education & Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree, (B.S or B.A) preferred
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in Financial Services or Asset Management Operations, especially around security data
+ Advanced knowledge of Equity, Fixed Income, Structured Products, Derivatives and Leveraged Loans
Technical Knowledge:
+ Strong understanding of how security master data drives fixed income security analytics (i.e. duration, convexity, yield, WAL, etc)
+ Solid understanding of data management and data platforms.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced), Word, and PowerPoint
+ Experience with Aladdin and Bloomberg preferred; Eze and Charles River a plus.

+ Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas concisely and objectively to technical and non-technical audiences (front office, client reporting, risk, performance, and other internal teams)

+ Effective time management skills, ability to multi-task and function independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment
+ Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with stakeholders

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $115,000-$150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
