Allied Universal® is hiring a Mobile Search Supervisor. The Mobile Search Supervisor will supervise and assist the Mobile Search Officer as needed while they operate and screen all incoming delivery vehicles, to our customer’s facilities, using the Vehicle Search Truck. The Mobile Search Officer ensures all vehicles and cargo are properly screened for explosives, hazardous materials, narcotics, weapons, or other contraband.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee that all aspects of the security function on the Mobile Search area are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training all Allied Universal personnel assigned to their area)Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been metMaintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by Allied UniversalEnsure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her area while operating the different tools and systems such as Scan Drive and X-ray machinePerform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervisionRespond to client requestsMake emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post OrdersProvide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding the performance of their dutiesDisciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnelMake productivity and cost reduction recommendations to managementMake recommendations for physical security surveys and post ordersMake recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

High school diploma or equivalentLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentValid driver’s license if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicleMust possess one or more of the following:Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National GuardService in Auxiliary Police or Police CadetsMinimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industryAssociate's degree or higher in any disciplineAble to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitorsDemonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the publicEffective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accuratelyProblem solving skillsActive listening skillsAble to assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accuratelyAble to compile, sort, and interpret dataResearch and investigative skills; able to compile informationAble to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacyTeamwork skillsAttention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat ZoneGraduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter fieldBachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studiesA minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branchAssociate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
