Security & NERC Reliability Programs Analyst

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

Design, implement, monitor, and support Chief Security Office (CSO) organization programs and projects to ensure Entergy’s compliance with the NERC Reliability Standards and support managing security-related risks. Such assignments will involve collaborating with personnel at all levels within the Power Delivery, Power Generation, Internal Audit, Cybersecurity, IT, Performance Improvement, Nuclear, and System Planning & Operations organizations, as well as with external regulatory staff. Contribute to enhanced security/reliability governance & oversight and overall program maturity.

 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead, coordinate, and execute NERC compliance and security-related oversight Administer Entergy’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) program for the NERC Area of Compliance, including oversight of business unit GRC execution and accountability Collaborate with the first line business units to design, develop, implement, and monitor robust processes and controls that ensure continuous compliance with the NERC Reliability Standards Integrate information from numerous sources to identify, analyze, and report compliance status to internal and external stakeholders Develop, implement, and maintain CSO program dashboards, metrics, and KPIs using technology and automation Provide oversight of cross-functional and internal policy and procedure administration Participate in industry activities that focus on trends or modifications to the NERC Reliability Standards Support internal self-assessments and self-certifications of the NERC Reliability Standards Support regulatory audit preparation and execution Support internal and external stakeholder engagement programs to facilitate effective relationships with stakeholders

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum education required: 

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience

 

Minimum experience required: 

5+ years of relevant experience

 

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Self-starter; driven and motivated to achieve results that make customers more successful Strong collaborative mindset with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent writing and analytical skills; the ability to communicate information in both formal and informal settings at varying organizational levels Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities Proficient technical expertise with computer software and database development Skills in business process and/or technical analysis, problem solving, and condition assessment

 

Preferred experience and qualifications:

NERC Reliability Standards (CIP and/or O&P) Critical infrastructure protection with emphasis on physical and cyber security-related systems and processes Electrical power delivery and/or power generation Archer GRC or equivalent Demonstrated experience utilizing data extraction, collaboration, and visualization tools to tell a story (PowerBI, SharePoint, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
