Titan Security is currently hiring a Security Officer's to work at a commercial building in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
ResponsibilitiesMonitoring and Surveillance:
Watch surveillance cameras to detect suspicious activity.Monitor building security systems like alarms or entry controls.Access Control:
Check and verify the identification of guests, visitors, and contractors.Ensure only authorized individuals can enter certain areas, including gated communities, private offices, or buildings.Manage visitor logs and issue visitor passes.Customer Service:
Assist guests with inquiries about local amenities, directions, or services.Provide a warm, welcoming environment for residents, guests, or clients.Address complaints or requests in a professional and timely manner.Emergency Response:
Respond to alarms, emergencies, or incidents promptly, contacting emergency services as needed.Assist in evacuation or lockdown procedures during emergencies.Be trained to handle first-aid and CPR if necessary.Patrolling:
Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.Inspect security equipment, doors, and windows to ensure they are locked and secure.Maintaining Records:
Keep detailed logs of incidents, unusual activities, or safety concerns.Record security check-in and check-out times for employees or residents.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.Collaborating with Security Teams:
Work closely with other security staff and management to implement safety protocols.Communicate any security breaches or potential threats to relevant authorities.Assisting with Deliveries:
Monitor and manage the reception of packages or deliveries to ensure safety.Escort couriers, maintenance workers, or contractors to specific locations within the building if necessary.Conflict Resolution:
Handle minor disputes or conflicts professionally, de-escalating situations when necessary.Work with residents or clients to resolve complaints while maintaining safety and security.General Administrative Duties:
Answer phones, emails, or messages related to security concerns or requests.Ensure that all building security measures are up to date and compliant with regulations.The role requires a mix of interpersonal and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to handle emergency situations efficiently.
Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED)Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkAble to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAble to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
