Responsible for insuring the safety and security of medical center employees, patients, visitors and property. Qualifications: + High school graduate or GED is strongly preferred. + Must have and maintain a valid state-issued Driver’s License. + Must complete a comprehensive South Carolina Law Enforcement background check as required for SLED certification. + Must complete the minimum training for Security Officers as required by the state during the first 30 days of employment. + Excellent communication, reading, writing, critical thinking and basic comprehension skills required. + Must be able to complete all reports and supplemental documentation accurately and in a timely manner. + Reports must be clearly written and free of grammatical errors.
