No Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Sergeant (Watch Commander), duties of this position include maintaining a safe environment for the University community by way of patrol (foot and vehicular) of buildings, grounds, parking lots, off campus facilities and city streets in the vicinity of the campus proper. Performs additional duties as required. Minimum Education and/or Work Experience High School diploma or GED and zero-one year of related experience. Qualifications - Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Previous law enforcement experience or degree preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
- Ability to remain calm and objective in high pressure situations.
- Demonstrated use of good judgement.
- Must pass an extensive background investigation and drug screening. Certificates/Credentials/Licenses NONE Computer Skills BASIC KEYBOARDING NECESSARY. ABILITY TO LEARN AND USE OFFICE AND DEPARTMENTAL SOFTWARE.
