The purpose of this role it to safeguard the physical welfare of patients, staff, and visitors. Helps protect the hospital's property and assets from vandalism and theft.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Minimum: High school grad or GED 

Preferred: Completion of college level courses.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Private Proprietary Security Officer license  Clear California Driver License.  American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire or transfer within 6 months of hire or transfer.

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Preferred: 1 year security experience or 2 years of prior military experience
