Security Officer From initial greeting through to departure our professionally trained security team are here to help. They control access to the village, assist with emergencies and ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay.We hope our guests never need them, but knowing we have a Security team on call all year-round provides peace of mind and reassurance.SECURITY OFFICER12.94 per hourWe are looking for a cheerful and efficient Security Officer to work within a small team, responsible for the Security of our village. This role is paramount to our guest journey as you will represent their first impressions of Center Parcs.Duties will include:Welcoming guests, visitors, and colleagues to the village on a daily basisCarrying out vehicle, cycle, and foot patrols, conducting vehicle checksEscorting colleagues moving high volume items across the villageResponding to emergencies, including liaising with the emergency services and writing incident reportsThe ideal candidate will have the ability to remain calm under pressure, with the ability to communicate competently both verbally and in writing. A First Aid qualification isessential and full training will be given if necessary.HOURS OF WORKYou will be contracted to work 168 hours per 4-week period.You will be working 12 hour shifts, days and nights, 4 on 4 off.As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.ABOUT YOUEssential requirements:Good communication skills, both orally and writtenAbility to perform under pressureA good knowledge of IT systemsFriendly, genuine, and warm towards colleagues and guestsFull Driving Licence, held for a minimum of 6 monthsSIA door supervisor badge and First Aid at work certificate or willing to undertake trainingDesirable requirements:Previous Security experienceABOUT THE BENEFITSCenter Parcs is a fantastic place to work and the benefits are as impressive as they are unique.
