Job Advert: Security Officer (Front of House) – Telford

We are currently looking for a professional and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at the front of house in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a secure environment with excellent pay and benefits.

Position: Security Officer (Front of House)
Location: Telford
Hours: Up to 51.5 hours per week

Salary:

Monday to Friday: £13.43 per hour Weekend rate: £13.98 per hour

Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety and security of the premises and the individuals within. Provide a professional and welcoming service to visitors and staff. Monitor security systems, such as CCTV, and perform regular security checks. Manage access control, including logging visitors and staff. Respond to emergencies and incidents as needed. Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security threats.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure. Must hold a valid SIA license. Flexibility with working hours, including weekends. Ability to handle security equipment and tools safely. Must be IT literate. May require to complete an English test
