General Summary
Provides law enforcement and protective services for the patients, families, staff, and property. Under general direction, responds to emergency situations while enforcing the established policies and in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland. Performs access control to ensure the safety of patients. Patrols the entire location as assigned to identify risks. Frequently works with medical professionals in advancement of patient & visitor safety. Provides support on investigations, detentions and/or arrests as required.

QualificationsTwo (2) years previous experience as a police officer in good standing with their assigned Agency in the State of Maryland is required. Requires sworn police officer in the State of Maryland (MPCTC Certification).
