Job Summary:
Security Officers - K9 primary responsibility is to maintain the safety and security of patrons, employees, and the Wynn and Encore property. Security Officers - K9 will utilize a specially trained and certified detection canine to perform job specific tasks. Security Officers - K9 will be required to effectively enforce company and departmental policies to ensure a secure environment. Security Officers - K9 are expected to provide exceptional customer service and uphold the Forbes Five-Star standards and the Wynn Resorts Core Values and Behaviors.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain the Wynn and Encore standards of exceptional service to patrons and employees.Will adhere to all Forbes-Five Star standards in order to maintain the integrity of the Wynn and Encore Las Vegas ambiance while promoting hotel facilities and services.Enforce safety policies and procedures to create a safe environment for all.Patrol the property, respond to calls for service, and gather guest information related to security and safety incidents.Perform crowd management control and scene management.Provide basic medical assistance in accordance with department training.Perform ID checks to ensure compliance with state laws and company policies.Monitor and restrict access to designated areas.Communicate clearly and concisely via radio and telephones.Maintain knowledge of gaming, state, and city laws.Collaborate with the Security Manager, security personnel, and departmental representatives to effectively execute security protocols and policies. Train and care for the canine according to company policy, ensuring daily safety, well-being, feeding, watering, and medication as needed.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kennel, including waste management, while monitoring and reporting any health or behavioral concerns regarding the animals.Perform other job related duties as assigned by management.Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.Demonstrates a basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, to facilitate effective communication and scheduling.Responsible for accurate record keeping and performing various office duties, including clocking in and out, to ensure operational efficiency.Ability to handle problems involving patrons and operation issues while maintaining a positive attitude.Exceptional customer service skills.Ability to work effectively in stressful, high pressure situations.Ability to work alone or in a team environment.Maintain confidentiality of patron information and hotel data.Attention to detail in performing essential job functions.Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel lift indoors for extended periods of time.Possession of a valid Nevada Gaming License, CPR certification, and Alcohol Awareness certification.
