Summary:

Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other related duties as assigned.

1. Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

2. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.

3. Controls traffic by directing drivers.

4. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.

5. Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.

6. Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

7. Respond to alarms, emergencies and requests for service.

8. Will perform other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:

At least two years related experience and/or training in Loss Prevention.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents, Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Missouri class E or Arkansas P designated driver's license and a safe driving record is required.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
