As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in retail and commercial real estate locations, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and responding to situations as they arise. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail, mall, and commercial real estate locations, including both interior and exterior areas.Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.Support emergency response activities and follow established protocols for various situations.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the location.Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control or badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Perks and Benefits:
