Responsibilities Access control for vendors, visitors or contractors as required.Processing incoming and outgoing vehicles and trucks, checking driver's paperwork.Admitting and departing trucks, weighing trucks in/out and assuring all drivers have
the required PPE.Maintaining clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property.Maintaining a safe, organized work environment.Responding to any and all medical emergencies, both minor and major, in and around the plant. Signing off on confined space permits.Completing post check rounds.Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED)Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkAble to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAble to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

 

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

Previous experience in shipping and receiving
Bi-lingual considered a plusProficiency with a computerProficiency with Microsoft Office software
