What you'll do Seeking a passionate, detailed, proactive Security Operations Lead to join the Cloud Engineering and Technical Operations team. This role will partner across multiple teams (security, compliance, engineering, support, etc.) to enable deeper integration points which in turn will result in more rapid innovation. This role will also have a mix of strategic and operational engagements working with cross functional partners. In addition, this role will drive the timely delivery of Security programs to support key strategic initiatives, drive operational optimization process enhancement and support security operational efforts. This position requires a highly driven individual with demonstrated experience in delivering projects in fast paced technical environments. The successful candidate will have demonstrable ability to drive consensus and provide direction to multiple cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining efficient plans, tracking issues, and proactively communicating project status. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Senior Director, Technology and Business Operations. Responsibility Work with team members to drive cross-functional and critical security initiatives for the company Establish relationships with partner teams within Docusign and use cross-functional coordination skills to drive and deliver Security program deliverables Manage and scale security programs by defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation, and ensuring successful on-time delivery and high-quality results Foster collaboration and alignment across the Security team and Cloud Engineering & Tech Ops team Identify and resolve challenges affecting projects Understand the big picture and plan ahead for dependencies and roadblocks Explain technical architecture, decisions, and tradeoffs to both technical and functional teams Foster cross-functional collaboration and communication, facilitating the flow of information and ensuring the message is understood by key partner teams Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic 12+ years of professional experience in High-Tech Industry, including 8+ years of experience in managing Security programs processes 8+ years of experience in technical program project management 8+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science or related fields, with relevant / direct industry experience in Security Experience in delivering multiple projects related to compliance such as FedRAMP IL4, PCI 4.0, NIST 2.0, and other compliance initiatives Experienced in Security technologies, Frameworks, mitigation or implementation of remediation strategies, effective security metrics and delivery Experience in fast-paced environments, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering results Confident in working with executive team members as well as working with security professionals and product owners at all levels Preferred Excellent spoken and written communication skills with an ability to state things simply and persuasively for a variety of audiences - internal, external, business and technical Strong analytical thinking and investigative/problem solving capabilities Proactive self-starter, ability to take initiative, learn quickly and drive operational excellence Independent, driven, eager to learn, time management skills, and the experience managing simultaneous and often changing priorities One or more of these certifications: CISM, CISA, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL, CSM, CSPO Familiar in different security domains such as Network Security, Application Security, Data Security, Vulnerability Management, Client and Cloud Security. Strong understanding of security controls and how they should be implemented across applications, systems and internal/cloud platforms Skilled at dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly growing and changing environment Strong business acumen and technical background, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges across wide-ranging audiences Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies Excellent relationship building skills, communication skills and track record of positive stakeholder feedback Exceptional presentation skills Strong academic track record, graduate degree Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $151,800.00 - $245,150.00 base salary Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800.00 - $214,350.00 base salary This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
