What would you do as our Security Operations Senior Engineer

As our Security Operations Senior Engineer, you would be a part of the global Cyber security team responsible for deploying, operating, and maintaining the global EDR (Endpoint Detection Response) platform.  You would be partnering with our internal customers and external strategic partners; you would increase the IT infrastructure's quality and efficiency and plan for future growth.

You would have an essential role in serving as the point of escalation and collecting feedback and requirements from customers and other stakeholders. You would contribute to driving a standard secure network infrastructure design and architecture, being compliant with related policies. Your responsibilities would include ensuring that processes and routines are well defined and documentation being correctly updated.

 

You would also:

Collaborate with internal and external experts to enhance security and optimize operations Develop, implement, and monitor security metrics, providing reports to customers Leverage knowledge of attacker techniques to refine queries for detecting malicious activity and improve infrastructure performance Participate in Cyber Security projects, security assessments, and deployment of new solutions within ASSA ABLOY group Support Threat Intelligence processes, security monitoring, and self-development within Cyber Security

 

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who has:

Solid IT experience with a passion for cybersecurity, particularly in endpoint detection and response Strong experience in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Life Cycle Management and configuration Strong experience working with internal and external stakeholders, especially in international, global companies Knowledge in incident response, handling methodologies, and various security principles (network, host-based, forensic analysis, cyber threat intelligence, etc.) Effective communication in English and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

 

Ideally, you would also have at least one of the following certifications – CompTIA Security+, CCNA, SC-900/AZ-900 or ITIL 4.
