As a Security Professional - Bank Patrol in Port Jervis, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with customer inquiries, and maintaining open communication with staff and visitors. Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents.Communicate clearly and promptly with team members and site management regarding any incidents or concerns observed during patrols.Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and credentials as required by site policies.Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and any security-related incidents encountered during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of security experience.Must be at least 21 years of age.New York Security Guard Registration (Guard Card) is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
