About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated security specialist to join our team. This role is aimed at candidates with or without previous work experience. We are interested in talented candidates that are passionate about cyber-security and have dealt with security and forensic tools in the past as part of personal projects or internships. 

You will work closely with our security team to assist in identifying and analyzing attacks, in forensic investigations and threat hunting for our customers and partners.
This position provides valuable exposure to real-world projects and the chance to enhance your skills in a professional environment.


Responsibilities:
* Identify malicious activity and undetected attacks.
* Reverse engineering of malicious binaries.
* Analysis of malware campaigns and documenting the findings.
* Forensic investigations.
* Threat hunting on Bitdefender telemetry.
* Collaborate with team members on various projects and tasks as assigned.


Requirements:
* Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Good knowledge of Windows architecture.
* Good understanding of security concepts.
* Knowledge of reverse engineering is a plus.
* Good knowledge of scripting languages is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Self-motivated with a passion for learning and a strong willingness to take on new challenges.


Preferred Qualifications:
* Security certifications provided by SANS or Offensive Security.
* Good knowledge of penetration testing tools such as Metasploit and Empire.
* Participation in security CTF competitions.
