Summary/Overview:
We're seeking a Security Risk Associate to join our growing Information Security team. This role can be based in our Dresher, PA office or Remote and reports to the Senior Security Risk Manager. Occasional travel to our NYC office is required. Our mandate is to assist with managing KBRA’s information security governance, risk, and security compliance as KBRA continues to grow and expand its client base in the financial services industry.
The Information Security Team believes in partnering with Business and IT to support and increase security posture and to make security a strategic organizational advantage. As a Security Risk Associate, you will work with the Senior Security Risk Manager ensure that the Governance, Risk, and Compliance functions of KBRA's Information Security program meet our overall security policies and standards and protects KBRA's information and systems. You will be involved in all GRC activities, be a driving force behind managing our BCP, Disaster Recovery, Vendor Management programs, update and restructure our policies and procedures, and enhance risk management processes.
Job Responsibilities:
As part of the vendor management process, work in tandem with security team and business leads to evaluate third-party vendors, applications and services used organization-wide. Pinpoint strengths and areas for improvement related to organizational security posture and security risk management acceptance. Enhance security vendor management procedures. Act as a key point of contact when team members identify security risk, and raise awareness and coordinate IT, legal and business unit leads on a risk reduction plan. Coordinate 3rd party assessments to make sure vendors are appropriately assessed and suitable for KBRA as well as respond to questionnaires from KBRA’s clients. Manage KBRA's Business Continuity Program including making sure the business is engaged, Business Impact Analysis (BIA) documents are maintained, the program is kept up to date and tested regularly. Manage KBRA's Disaster Recovery Program including making sure systems/process are documented and tested regularly. Manage KBRA's Information Security policies and procedures ensuring they are complete, pragmatic, and up to date. Perform other compliance and risk activities such as updating the yearly gap analysis against various security frameworks and building out and keeping the risk register up to date. Engage the business to ensure business risk appetite is aligned with reality. Work closely with KBRA's Business, Developers and IT to solve problems, escalate issues and provide amazing customer service.Successful candidates will possess the following:

Certifications: CISSP, GSEC, CISA, CRISC or 3 years direct hands-on experience within the information security and risk management field. You will be successful in this role if you: Have a strong background in information security governance, risk, and compliance. Knowledge and hands on experience with table top exercises Have the drive and tenacity to follow through and find the root of an issue. Strong communication skills to communicate with the business and customers. Can work independently and cross business team projects. Have performed risk and compliance assessments, including vendor risk assessments. Have participated in customer audits. Knowledge of a SOC 2 Type II framework, GLBA, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001 requirements. Knowledge of ESMA, FCA and SEC requirements as they relate to cyber security and operational resilience (DORA) Belong to an industry group to keep up with threats and risks (ISSA, ISACA, Infragard, SANS, FS-ISAC, etc.) Knowledge of security architecture, cloud security and can understand technical architecture conversations. Have written security policies, standards, and procedures for security operations and the organization. Are great at stakeholder management and influencing skills Detail-oriented and adept at creating documentation Can work with and manage people across multiple disciplines to assure the various aspects of information security governance, risk, and compliance are being met Are autonomous and self-driven Have excellent written and verbal communication skillsSalary Range:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 to $150,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
