Job Description Responsible for safeguarding the organization's information assets by conducting comprehensive security risk assessments, ensuring compliance with security standards, and driving risk mitigation strategies.

This role involves a deep understanding of security architecture, design, and industry best practices. The SRM will be responsible for reviewing systems, applications, and networks to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and recommend appropriate controls. Additionally, they will collaborate with stakeholders to implement security measures and monitor compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical information into actionable insights.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations

Conduct security assessments (architecture, design, systems)Identify, assess, and mitigate security risksDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategiesMonitor security posture and compliancePrepare and distribute security reports

Compliance

Ensure adherence to security standards and regulationsManage security deviations and exceptionsCollaborate with stakeholders to promote security awarenessConduct production systems/application security audits and assessments

Change Management

Evaluate security impact of proposed changesDevelop security requirements for the specific change requestOversee security aspects of change management processes

Governance

Enforce and implement security policies and standardsProvide security guidance to project teamsCommunicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholdersBuild relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Risk Management

Identify, assess, and prioritize security risksDevelop and implement risk treatment plansMonitor risk levels and effectiveness of controls

Additional Responsibilities

Proactively monitor project roadmaps and complianceTrack and manage security-related issuesContribute to process improvement initiatives
