Role Summary

Specializes in applying knowledge of experimental methodologies, statistics, optimization, probability theory, and machine learning, using code for tool building, statistical analysis and modeling, using both general purpose software and statistical languages.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on knowledge of computer networks and tools used for network traffic analysisIdeally also understanding of  telco specific network protocols (SS7, Diameter, SIP, GTP, HTTP2, ...)Analytical thinkingExperience with data mining, knowledge of database technologies (no-sql databases)(power-)user/admin-level knowledge of Linux OSUnderstanding of virtualization and containerizationAbility to create scripts in languages such as Python, LUA, BashUpper intermediate English
