As Security Site Leader, you’ll ensure our security team adheres to our high level of standards for infrastructure, processes and business operations. You’ll also coordinate with leadership to define and implement policies and procedures.
About the Role
Assist contract security and parking teams by acting as site reviewer for existing contractsAssist the Technology team with on-site security maintenance, support and installationsIdentify security weaknesses and implement procedures for mitigating lossesDirect the development and implementation of security programs to guard against theft, vandalism, sabotage, violence or other threats against the client, the organization or its team membersSupport West Coast assets by performing safety presentations and ensuring compliance with security procedures on a quarterly basisWork directly with third-party vendors to quote, purchase and test security-related productsCoordinate new construction projects for the business related to the security layoutAudit project invoices billed to security for project completionInitiate activities to create security awareness within the organizationAssist in the coordination of security actions such as taking badge photos, participating in orientations and performing emergency supply auditsLead the effort to coordinate off-site security for company team meetings and activitiesOversee site disaster planning and response with BCP and emergency, fire prevention and safety issuesEnsure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and standards involving hazardous materials when delivered by U.S. mailAct as a liaison between the security and property teams in PhoenixOrganize monthly calls and periodic site audits with out-of-state security czars for information sharing and best practicesCollaborate with senior security leadership across the Rock Family of Companies locations to ensure the same standards are being followed and help define new operational strategiesReview project bids to ensure processes and best practices have been followedAssist in establishing quantification standards of qualitative data to aid in strategic analysesCreate and oversee an audit process for the Rock Family of Companies West Coast operations and share the results with senior security leadershipComplete investigations as neededWork with law enforcement as necessaryMaintain confidentialityAbout You
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or 10 years of security-related experienceExcellent listening, organization and communication skillsStrong attention to detailProficient computer skills with advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointUnderstanding of the relationship of security and the effects on business operationsSelf-motivation and the ability to work with minimal instruction or supervisionProven ability to perform a variety of critical and often confidential tasksProfessional and consistent demeanor while maintaining confidentiality of company informationWhat You’ll Get
