FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Security Solutions Architect to work for our client within the consulting sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Bristol or Edinburgh.

Our client is seeking an experienced Security Solutions Architect who will be responsible for delivering and implementing security solutions architectures across the organisation in line with the enterprise security architecture and vision. You will maintain strong vendor relationships and will provide IT insight/innovation to the business and technology teams as well as enhancing the overall group’s security posture and awareness of security best practice.

Responsibilities

Ensure the Security Solution Architecture documents are maintained in line with company requirements and industry best practice Ensure all relevant stakeholders can be familiar with and contribute to the Security Solutions Architecture Ensure processes are followed and working practices aligned with the other functions across Computershare Delivers timely input to budgeting and financial planning Manages and maintains security development guidance Ensures timely delivery of assigned security architecture projects Ensure compliance with the Computershare IT architectures, books of instructions, procedures and guidelines, quality standards and all regulatory and statutory requirements, and where appropriate take action to ensure the company business is always protected Contribute to managing and maintaining vendor relationships, and maintain an awareness of the capability and suitability of suppliers to assist in execution of the security solutions architecture, and provide recommendations as appropriate
