SPA's security team supports the traditional security requirements for SPA Headquarters and cleared offsite locations including personnel security, physical security, and maintenance of SPA's facility clearance.

 

SPA has an immediate need for a Security Specialist.

Responsibilities

The Security Specialist will assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) with supporting the security needs of SPA's workforce to include onboarding and training new personnel, managing personnel security clearances and document control. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

- Current TS clearance

- Experience managing personnel security clearances in DISS

- Experience with document control requirements

 

Desired Qualifications: 

- Completion of FSO course through CDSE

- Experience with the certification and operation of open storage areas

- Experience with SIMS or similar software tools
