Summary You will serve as a security specialist at the GG-09/Band 2 level. This position is located at NIRR MR CLEMENS. Responsibilities You will participate in Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrinations and education briefings for qualified individuals. You will assist with the development, evaluation, implementation, or execution of information security programs. You will participate in tasks relative to an assigned area in the security technology fields if intrusion detection systems, access control systems, sound making systems and external and internal closed-circuit television for multiple facilities. You will collect, review, interpret, evaluate and integrate security data from multiple sources to assess the relevance of current or emerging security concepts, Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Carry out assignments necessary to implement security throughout the activity to meet security program requirements; Identify gaps regarding personnel, information and physical security; Participate in all tasks related to Sensitive Compartmented information (SCI) process and education; Use technology to identify the design, and working conditions of technology to protect the physical layout of facilities.
