A Security Technician will join the TierPoint managed services team by achieving the following goals:
Supporting triage security events across all TierPoint product offerings Collaborate with other TierPoint managed services teams and customers to tune security tools Supporting security and compliance audits of TierPoint managed services Provide guidance in threat mitigation Responsibilities Triage security events in customer environments using IR playbooks Coordinate security response with other TierPoint managed services teams Gather compliance evidence for audits Respond to volumetric DDoS events Qualifications
1 of the following:
Bachelors in technical field 2+ years of industry experience Industry certificates such as CySA+, NSE 4+, CEH, GSEC…
Preferred Skills
Experience with the following security technologies:
Experience with the following technical concepts:
Defense in depth Threat Hunting Compliance requirements (NIST/PCI/HIPPA/etc.) Access Management
Experience with the following administrative concepts:
Cross-Functional teams Documentation/Learning management Customer service
