Job Description
Job Summary The practical application of Security and Safety measures which will include the well-being of guests, Associates and the company’s assets, according to agreed policies of the company and the procedures and objectives as set out by the Director of Safety &Security and of the Security Supervisor Essential Duties and Responsibilities • To assess and report potential loss situations in the hotel in order that accidental Profit loss may be prevented. • To report and investigate all thefts and criminal offences in the hotel or affecting the hotel, record all relevant incidents to Director of Safety and Security and EAM. • To assess and report potential safety hazards in order that remedial action are taken. • The identification and removal of all undesirables who are seen to be of detriment to the hotel and / or its clients. • To assist in the supervision and application of the key control system for all rooms, departments and master keys of the hotel. • To ensure the secure handling of all cash movements throughout the hotel. • To assist in enquiries from the civil police or other Government departments and law enforcement agencies. • To respond immediately to all fire alarms and act in accordance with policy and procedures with regard to fire, also to respond to all exit and security alarms, making a full investigation and reporting accordingly. • To adhere to any other reasonable instruction from Senior Management. • To be familiar with anti-terrorist and bomb threat procedure and are able to act as a leader in the event of emergency. • To render prompt assistance in the case of a fire, accident or any other emergency that may arise
