This position provides supervision of all in-house and contract security personnel assigned to Auto Club facilities. The position is responsible for recommending, surveying and directing security equipment installations for all Club facilities enterprise-wide. In addition, the position is involved with threat assessments, case management for safety and security related incidents, while participating in and developing emergency preparedness training for all Emergency Response team members.
Job Duties
Participate in the planning and implementation of company wide emergency preparedness, including the execution of all Emergency Operations Center drills and activations, purchasing and distribution of emergency supplies enterprise-wide, emergency training and the development and implementation of Club emergency procedures.
Initiate and manage security project improvements and repairs for enterprise-wide security projects. Review and approve billing at job completion.
Participate in the budget oversight of Security and Emergency Operations.
Oversee and approve contract billing and deployment for field Officers and in-house Officers at the A.O.
Respond to and investigate company and employee sensitive issues. Coordinate with other Business Units, such as Internal Auditing, HR, Information Protection, Office of General Counsel, Membership Services and various Executive staff.
Conduct Site surveys of field offices and document areas of improvement, including assessment of emergency and security equipment.
Coordinate and participate in special events at the direction of management and/or Executive staff.
Develop and maintain security databases vital to enterprise-wide statistical gathering.
Position routinely exercises discretion and independent judgment in identifying and resolving safety issues. Decisions made are time sensitive and require collaboration with members of security teams and other Business Units.
Develop and present security awareness training classes to field offices and various business units across the enterprise.
Process security service requests, establish and maintain core KPI’s and present physical security metrics on a quarterly basis.
Assist with the procurement, installation, and maintenance of security systems, including but not limited to: access control, CCTV, burglary and life safety alarm systems.
Spearheads new projects in both existing areas and new construction
Qualifications
Bachelors Equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred
4-6 years of corporate security, law enforcement or related field Preferred
1-3 years Supervisory Preferred
Professional communication skills required, both written and oral.
Proven ability to achieve high service quality results while meeting productivity levels required.
General knowledge of security applications, industry standards and practices, CCTV systems, loss prevention and threat assessment required.
Proven effectiveness to negotiate and resolve complaints on an escalated level.
Demonstrate strong coaching, interpersonal, and effective presentation skills. Demonstrate leadership ability to motivate a group of employees towards a desired result.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint required.
Certified Protection Professional - ASIS International Preferred
BSIS Guard Card, Exposed Firearms Permit, and CCW Preferred
Valid Driver's License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles record and minimum liability insurance - Issued by State Required
The starting pay range for this position is:
$66,560.00 - $88,200.00Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
