Security Supervisor - ARMC (Night shift 6PM-6AM)
The Supervisor Security is responsible for oversight of Security staff and operations at assigned location(s), supervising Security Officer's daily activities, preventing and detecting crime, as well as protecting persons and property. This role performs duties relating to the welfare and safety of the employees, patients, visitors, and property of the organization.

Talent Pool: Corporate Services/Professional


Collaborates with Managers to build and maintain the department's operational schedules, including planning daily assignments and conducting daily briefing for security operations.
Supervises, assigns, and evaluates activities of shift personnel, ensuring adherence to department and the organization's policies and procedures.
Mentors shift personnel on job performance and monitors the training progress of new security employees to ensure direct reports are meeting performance standards.
Oversees emergency situations as they arise, notifying and involving appropriate leaders throughout the organization.
Assesses the department's needs for additional shift personnel and equipment to meet objectives.
Represents Security Services in daily Safety Huddles, meetings, and other outreach activities as assigned.
Intervenes in altercations (verbal and physical) that may include patients, visitors, and/or staff to find a safe resolution.
Supports Morgue Services staff on security-related tasks as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:Required: 2 years of practical experience working in security, the military, or a related field
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:Required:
Valid Driver's License (if driving a Cone Health vehicle, must have 5 years of driving experience and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be approved by Risk Management);
Completion of all 3 levels of IAHSS Healthcare Security and Safety Officer certification program within 1 year of hire;
ICS 700 and 800 Incident Structure Certificates required within 1 year of hire;
Completion of a STARR de-escalation training program;
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
