Security Support Officer (15969)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Support Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, to work in the Andover area.

You must have your own transport and prepared to work externally.

Hours: Various hours and shifts as and when required, days nights and weekends, Shifts as per site requirements. On average 36 hours per week. 06.30 - 18.30 and 18.30 - 06.30.

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour

Responsibilities

The Security Officer will be required to:

Be the first point of contact for visitors to the site. Liaise with client to fulfil security requirements on site. Gate house - Booking in lorry deliveries, checking paperwork before releasing vehicles, monitoring access & egress to site of public, staff, contractors and visitors. Patrolling of site, monitor and record temps of trailers, freezers and chillers, lock and unlock site. Complete various security documentation. Liaise with manager effectively and efficiently. Protect the image of high profile client and Kingdom. Supervise and control site access. Conduct regular site patrols including CCTV and fire panel patrols. Where appropriate and trained act as incident first responder.

Person Specification

To be considered for this position, you will need:

A valid SIA licence; or applied for / an EDBS will be conducted by Kingdom. Own transport. A full five year checkable employment history. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An ability to work as part of a team. An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach IT skills.
