Security Systems Operator
**Description** **Location** : Onsite listed in the job posting. **SUMMARY** The primary responsibility of the Corporate Security Specialist (Security Systems Operator) will be to answer all calls for service related to security, as well as monitor and operate all electronic security systems, to include CCTV, alarm and access control. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** • Monitor and operate security systems. • Respond to alarm events and emergency situations in a timely, effective and professional manner. • Answer phone calls and direct security related inquiries as appropriate. • Prepare and maintain accurate records and logs of console activities. • Report required information on events to Corporate Security Management in accordance with Corporate Security guidelines/standards. • Maintain thorough knowledge of security devices and equipment. • Execute all emergency procedures, particularly those relating to robbery, extortion, fire, bomb threats and the safety of customers and employees. • Perform other duties as assigned including working with Corporate Security Management in the development and implementation of departmental goals. • Continually strive to provide excellent customer service to our corporate partners and customers. **QUALIFICATIONS** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position: 1. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma and law enforcement, military or security-related experience. 2. Preferred Qualifications: 2-5 years’ experience in the military, law enforcement or industrial security industry. 3. Intermediate computer skills 4.
