Overseas Security Systems Technician
Job description
In this role you will need design and draw complex Electronic Security System (ESS) and Closed-Circuit Camera System (CCTV) equipment and components; and infrastructure to support ESS, communication systems and power systems.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a minimum SECRET clearance.What You'll Be Doing:
Interpret specifications and requirements and prepare requests for information (RFIs) when needed.Read and interpret blueprints and system wiring schematics.Battery Backup systemsCommand, control, and display equipmentAccess control and credentialing systems (e.g., Genetec, Lenel, AMAG, Vindicator, Software house)CCTV cameras and video management servers (e.g., Genetec, Bosch, Vindicator)Sensors, such as motion detectors (PIR), balanced magnetic switches (BMS), vibration detectors, buried line sensors (BLS), fiber optic sensor systems (FOSS), and RADAR/microwaves.Work closely with Engineers and the Project Management team to modify or change designs as needed.Provide project status/updates to the respective project manager and team leader.Utilize controlled documentation and government standards, application guides, and industry best practices to complete onsite installations at various locations, worldwide.What Required Skills You'll Bring:.
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar overseas roleExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multitask, while maintaining attention to detailWorking knowledge of network infrastructure and architectureCCNA, or CompTIA Security+ recommended.AutoCAD a plusAssociate Level Vendor Specific Certification preferred (e.g., Intrusion Detection, CCTV or Access Control Systems).Compensation package:
