Security Technician
Hertford, NC 27944 

System One is seeking a Security Technician in Hertford, NC 27944 to provide technical support onsite with our client. This is a great opportunity to join a respected client in the engineering and construction services sector!

Important Details:

Direct hire position

Pay rate up to $42/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Health and Welfare pay: $4.93/hr

Health & Welfare rate is paid on top of the hourly rate but ONLY PAID FOR the 1st 40 hours WORKED EACH WEEK (does not apply to overtime hours)

Work schedule: 4 x 10’s

Approximate Work Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Weekly pay

Benefits after 30 days (health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, etc.)

401k after 30 days

Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check

Clearance Requirements:

Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph strongly preferred

Willing to accept Secret or Top Secret clearance but candidate needs to be submitted for a TS / FS upgrade.

US Citizenship required

Responsibilities:

Candidate will be the fourth member of a team whose joint responsibilities include, but are not limited to shredders, automated gates, facility locks, Lenel access control panels, intrusion detection panels, CCTV cameras, headend viewing systems, fence line detection system, key tracking system with hundreds of users, install and maintain high security locks (LKM7000, L-1000, X09, X10), base radio trucking system with repeaters, handheld radios with multiple talking groups, North Carolina Viper Radio system, install and maintain on-guard with stations for access control and alarm monitoring, maintain hotel key locking system, maintain and install security radar system with detection software, and install and maintain AI-phones with head end units.
