Qualifications:

At least 2 years of unarmed security experience and 1 year of armed security or law enforcement experience.Ability to pass a pre-employment physical ability test and a skills assessment.Capable of working 12-hour shifts with rotating days off (days or nights).Licenses/Certifications:First Aid/CPR/AED (required).Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security Officer License (within six months).Taser, Baton, Handcuffing, and Defensive Tactics certifications (within six months).Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

Proactively patrol and secure VHC Health facilities.Respond to emergencies, enforce policies, and prepare reports.Administer advanced first aid and handle emergency situations.Wear required protective gear, including ballistic vests and body-worn cameras.
