Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented SEIT Product Owner to join our growing team!

In this role you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog for a OPIR ground system team, ensuring that the testing strategy aligns with overall product goals, by collaborating closely with developers, and other product teams to deliver high-quality products through effective test case design and execution within an agile framework.

What You'll Be Doing:

Providing systems engineering thought leadership and expertise to the analysis, design, development, and evaluation of OPIR systems.Implement OPIR system architectures that meet operational requirements and performance objectives.Participate in all aspects of Systems Engineering throughout the full program lifecycle (concept definition, design, test, and production), using traditional and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods.Assist with definition of high level functional and performance requirements and verification methods, subsequent analysis, decomposition, and derivation of requirements, allocation of those lower-level requirements to physical and functional architectural elements, and tracking them through design, verification, integration, and operational validation.Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo to develop system definitions/architecturesPartner with subject matter experts and technology experts to execute the systems engineering statement of work.Understand and work collaboratively with customer on their needs, goals, expectations, and sensitivities.Flow down customer requirements to the System Spec.Assist the development of the program's Ground Segment CONOPS, design and test plan using MBSE tools.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Active Secret clearance, with the willingness and ability to obtain a TS/SCI.B.S. degree in engineering, engineering management, computer science, or related field from an accredited college/university.  Can substitute directly relevant technical and operational experience for degree requirements.10+ years of relevant experience with at least 3+ years as a product ownerExperience with MBSE methodologies and tools for modeling complex systems throughout the systems engineering lifecycle, CAMEOExperience in systems of systems engineering of complex systems, with the ability to analyze and optimize interactions between interconnected subsystemsExperience performing design or development with cross-disciplined engineering teamsExperience using agile framework development methods and processesBroad systems engineering experience including early concept development, requirements analysis, design, test and evaluation, and risk assessmentDemonstrated leadership and successful execution of small multi-disciplinary technical teams and projectsDemonstrated successful management with government and FFRDC counterparts

Salary Range: 

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
