Job details

Performs selective solder of printed circuit boards. Must have knowledge of IPC-610 Workmanship Standards. Has thorough understanding of the soldering process and the Selective Solder equipment used.

Able to make good judgments concerning quality of solder joints. Evaluates results of Selective Soldering process to ensure process control. Ensures compliance to any machine maintenance requirements and Solutions?compamies Selective Solder procedures. Understands safety issues related to soldering and machine operation. Able to perform repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy and dexterity. Able to read and understand ... engineering documentation. May be required to operate Wash machine for PCBs.

Responsibilities:

Organizes workload, and prepares for the start of the shift.Reviews engineering documentation for any special requirements.Performs tasks as directed by the Production Manager.Performs Selective Soldering to IPC-610 workmanship criteria.Interfaces with managers and peers to resolve issues.Interfaces with Production Manager and Quality Assurance Manager for resolution of Quality issues.Works accurately and timely.Ensures that work area is kept clean and that safety rules are followed.Participates in company or special training classes with emphasis on employee improvement.Any other responsibilities as directed by the Production Manager.
