Team Overview and Job responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate professional to be our IMR Sales Manager with commercial acumen with at least 3-5 years of technical solution sales or project sales experience.
Joining our sales force, you’ll be part of some of the world’s boldest and most impactful energy transition projects.
Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) team is in charge of repair and maintenance offering either as a stand-alone SLA (Service Level Agreements) or part of EPCI package. She/he will lead the tendering process and proposals preparation efficiently and effectively and support the Commercial Organization to focus on strategical value creation. We work in the Projects Division and more specifically in the Submarine Power Cable business managing EPCI projects for Offshore Wind, Interconnection and Power from Shore applications.
Manage strategic accounts, developing and opening new accounts, development of IMR sales concepts and implementation of sales strategy, presentation of solutions and value proposition, contract negotiation, subcontractor relationships. You will lead multi-disciplined teams throughout the tendering, negotiation and contract closing phases.
IMR Sales main responsibilities will be to:
Lead the tendering process, clearly communicating internally the strategy and keeping the tendering team focused on key objectivesLead Contract negotiationsDelivery of annual sales target while achieving and exceeding sales budget for the assigned customers/projects.Track and manage IMR sales opportunity pipeline from the earliest stages of project development through to contract closure to deliver the annual Business PlanCustomer visits to understand their challenges and needsWorks closely with customers to prioritize which opportunities present the best chance of conversion in order to support the Business Unit in developing a deliverable forward strategyProvide recommendations on commercial aspects to be applied to proposals to reflect the market conditionsDevelop, establish and manage regular reports related to all relevant sales, market and competitor activityContinuously work to reinforce and protect the Prysmian Brand imageEnsuring bilateral communication flow between the market and the business to establish and maintain positive corporate client relationshipsEffective resolution of disputes across all projects both internally (with project managers, compliance managers and all the internal stakeholders) and externally (with clients and sub-contractors) as requiredSupport to project managers during the execution of projects on commercial matters and client stanceFoster an effective working relationship between Sales and the functions within the businessReduction/removal of repeated mistakes across enquiries/proposals through effective analysis of lessons learnt outputsThe ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment, she/he is used with managing complex data (prices, costs, variables fees, currencies, etc.) and quickly manage to connect, analyze and cluster them to be reviewed and presented in different forms. She/He is able lead and manage the tendering process across the organization. We are looking for a quick learner with an effective time management and negotiation skill, the ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously managing different peers across the Company.

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferred Electrical/Mechanical) or Economics or Scientific disciplines;Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications especially Excel (ability to use VBA is a real asset);Able to manage complex price lists and variegate structures of costs/prices (products and services)Ability to communicate fluently in spoken and written English.Candidates should present the following soft skills:
