Our Team
Bloomberg Trading Solutions addresses the entire workflow
with front-end portfolio, inventory, sales and trading, and middle and
back-office operations solutions for both buy-side and sell-side firms.
Bloomberg's Broadway EMS Solution is at the leading edge of high-performance
trade execution delivering innovative multi-asset solutions to SellSide clients
including the top banks in the world. Combined with Bloomberg's Trade Order
Management System (TOMS) Bloomberg provides fixed income sell-side firms the
capabilities to efficiently manage inventory, risk, P&L, compliance, and
straight-through processing. The enterprise suite of solutions includes
electronic trading tools and market connectivity to help firms synchronize
their front office risk and trading with middle-office, operations, and
enterprise applications in real-time.
What's the role?
We are looking for an experienced Sell-side EMS specialist to
focus on the Pre-Sales process, supporting Sales teams by successfully designing
solutions across our product suite. As a Broadway Pre-Sales
Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for building and maintaining close
industry relationships, supporting the teams with revenue growth goals and
strategic multi-product client engagements.
The Broadway Pre-Sales Solutions Architect is a
critical member of the sales team responsible for engaging potential customers
and key decision makers. The Broadway Pre-Sales Solutions Architect will understand
their client’s business objectives and requirements and deliver customized
pre-sales presentations and technical product demonstrations. You must maintain
in-depth market knowledge, understand trends in the EMS space, and
analyze the competitive landscape. You will be expected to influence the product
development strategy for the AMER region across Bloomberg’s full
Enterprise Sell-Side technology solutions.
We will trust you to:
- Collaborate with Sales teams to achieve sales targets by closely
interacting with prospects and existing accounts to deeply
understand the customer’s objectives and requirements and deliver the Bloomberg
Broadway value proposition.
- Support strategic client engagements through discovery meetings
across all aspects of the sales life cycle to understand the customer’s current
process and document technology stack and workflows.
- Be the technical lead in running client facing POCs and product
demonstrations.
- Work collaboratively with sales and product managers to communicate
product gaps, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Assist in the development of RFP/RFI responses coordinating with
Operations, Sales, Product and Legal & Compliance teams to drive and close
sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain Bloomberg Broadway demonstration
environments as well as demonstration script
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of EMS, OMS,
and Risk products and services offered by Bloomberg and its competitors
- Partner with Implementation, Enterprise technology and Product on
Solutions design and Target Operating Model for our more complex sales
engagements.
- Facilitate detailed information transfer from the sales process to
the implementation team.
You'll need to have:
- 5+ years of pre-sales, project management, specialist relationship
management solutions architect experience with Sell-side technology
product
- Prior experience gathering detailed client requirements, building
product demonstrations, and validating these through workshops to support the
sales lifecycle
- Capital Markets knowledge with a strong understanding of
buy & sell-side order management workflows
- Solid understanding of the trading technologies used in
the capital markets industry
- Highly proactive approach and confidence in sales approach
and strategy
- Exemplary presentation, training, and communication skills
- Project management and organizational skills
- Manage time effectively and work well under pressure in a fast-paced,
rapidly growing team environment
- The ability for regular travel
