About the team:The Seller Event Manager will support eBay’s Seller Community & Engagement programs and events, both in person and virtual. This individual will focus strongly on virtual event production, project planning, and asset and content logistics!What will you accomplish:
Project Management: Manage concurrent event calendars, timelines, and task progress, and follow up with stakeholders as necessary.
Platform Management: Responsible for building, testing, and managing the virtual events platform.
Event Performance Measurement: Support the broader team with program data pulls, sharing results, and extracting year-over-year learnings.
Competitive Analysis & Best Practices: Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to provide insights that inform team decisions and strategies.
Content and Asset Management: Partner with the content team in tracking assets, maintaining feedback loops, etc.
Event Activation: Support the onsite activations of in person events.
What you will bring:2-3 years of experience in event management, particularly in an e-commerce or engagement-focused role, with expertise in virtual event production.
Strong communication skills to engage diverse audiences.
Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and deliver strategies that align with business objectives.
Strong project management skills and ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently and with teams across different cities and time zones.
An eye for detail and process.
Ability to travel up to 1 week a month
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$70,000 - $120,700Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
