The Semi & Sciences Sales leader will be responsible for driving bookings/revenue growth and strengthening customer relationships with the goal of delivering an outstanding experience and customer success by bringing to bear our differentiated capabilities. You will be driving the commercial success of our products in semiconductor, life science and material science businesses. Additionally, multiple existing customers for this role are on a global expansion path in which you will play a strategic partnership role to support the realization of these ambitions.
What will you do?
The successful candidate will make an impact in the following key areas:
Commercial Leadership:Develop and complete long-term strategic sales plans
Drive sales execution, including pipeline management, opportunity qualification, and deal closure.
Foster positive relationships with KOLs and C-Suite executives of key customers like to establish the company as a key strategic partner for expansion and innovation
Prioritisation of price realization and margins
Explore opportunities for new business, customer experience improvement and large deals through these connections.
Identify and take advantage of emerging technical gaps, trends, and opportunities; Proactively identify, advance, and resolve customer issues, ensuring our customers' utmost happiness.
Coordinate with BU leadership, Product Management, Sales Development, and Commercial Management to develop and drive growth initiatives and campaigns.
Working through influence, this role will leverage service as a key differentiator in customer experience and partner closely with the service team to drive recurring business opportunities through customer success.
Multiple customers are on the path to global expansion, you will partner with them to drive their success through all solutions without limiting yourself to Taiwan.
Leverage technology and tools to drive funnel management, forecast accuracy and risk mitigation
With some oversight, lead the contractual processes including Confidentiality agreements, Preferred provider / Master Services agreements / pricing agreements.
Monitor market intelligence including competition, macroeconomics and the regulatory environment;
Team LeadershipBuild, lead, and mentor a hard-working sales team, providing guidance, mentoring, and motivation.
Recruit, hire, and develop top sales talent to build a world-class sales organization that will scale to deliver on the immense potential in the Taiwan market
Set ambitious sales targets and track progress to ensure achievement of bookings and revenue goals.
Collaborate with other regionally based colleagues to improve our success in cross regional projects.
Collaborate with the sales team members from different business unit and divisions on cross-divisional sales opportunities.
Responsible for the engagement, development and retention of talent
How will you get here?
10+ years successful history of high value capital equipment, available experience, and network in Semiconductor or high value EM sciences sales.
Experience in solution and value selling. Capability to tie independent product offerings into an integrated solution sale that offers the highest value proposition to the customer.
Deep understanding of Taiwan semi and sciences market and industry trends.
Some experience with supporting customers with global aspirations
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50%
Advanced degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
