This company are hiring for a Semi-Senior Accountant and a Client Portfolio Manager.ResponsibilitiesPreparation of Accounts: Compile and prepare accounts and tax computations for a diverse portfolio of clients, including companies, partnerships, and sole traders.Client Interaction: Report directly to the director or client manager, attending meetings and addressing client queries effectively.VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with current regulations.Bookkeeping Support: Provide ad hoc bookkeeping assistance utilizing various accounting software packages, including Sage 50 and Xero.Team Support: Mentor and provide support to junior staff members, fostering a collaborative work environment.Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and skills:Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in an accounting practice.Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a team setting.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
