Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is searching for a Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer to join the 3D Integration and Imaging Sensors Center in Lompoc. This position will be responsible for manufacturing engineering support for advanced Focal Plane Arrays (FPA) and 3DHI technology development programs and IRaD efforts at the RVS Lompoc 200mm Silicon wafer fabrication facility. Specifically, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the planning sequence of operations and specifying procedures for product fabrication and other functions that affect product performance. This role will also be responsible for inspecting product through various stages of build and development as well as investigating and initiating corrective actions of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. This role will work under limited supervision while exercising responsibility in assisting production teams in meeting production goals through day-to-day production support and process improvements. As a Manufacturing Engineer, decisions are data driven in nature and require ability to utilize critical thinking to quickly recognize and resolve problems.
What You Will Do:
Support semiconductor wafer processing in a cleanroom environment.Create planning sequence of operations and specify procedures for product fabricationInspect wafers through various stages of build and developmentWork with failure analysis techniques such as 8D and Root Cause & Corrective Action reporting.Interpret technical drawings or schematics to understand fabrication requirementsAnalyze yield data and identify areas for potential yield improvementsPrepare Technical writingsQualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a STEM related degree and a minimum of 5 years related Engineering experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of related Engineering experience.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We Prefer:
Knowledge of Manufacturing Planning and Non-conforming Material ControlProficient in Microsoft Project application, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint applications.Knowledge of Performance metrics specifications (Analysis, Flowdown, Writing) and Process Yields and Analysis. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
